Made in Japan 1959 - 7 Toshiba transistors - small tabletop portable with excelent sound and reception - the poweramp, with forced aircooling finned power transistors, gives 600 mW output - MW only - 6 'C' cells for 9V supply for extended playing time - the radio had to be repaired and is in very good condition now - This Aimor radio was designed for ladies and girls, to fit in their pastel coloured rooms, the colour of the radios cabinet is pink with an ivory front. This radio fits in the English and USA tradition of the 1950s to make fashionable radios specially for women. The handle of the radio is made of solid brass and can be pushed down.
