model 808C - 12 transistor
Made in Hong Kong 12 transistor pocket radio. The transistors are incircuit, but of some is not clear what their function is, as they are used as diode on a place in the schematics that no usefull contibution to the functioning of the radio can be determined. The transistors are germanium and silicon and are a real map of the development of the vintage transistor: There is 1 General Electric oval first generation, a second generation, third generation and TI first generation silicon. All transistors are stamped and also labeled with contradictional information. The old GE217 transistor is labeled with 2N193, some silicon transistors are labeled with 2N147 and 2N148. It plays average and it takes a 9 V battery.
