model 6 transistor kit
The RED version.
Pocket radio kit from 1961 made in Holland, case in Germany. It employs 6 Philips glass transistors. It has a 2 stage IF and needs a 9V P-cell as supply. The version I have has no pcb, but a board with soldering bolts and square holes drilled in for the IF transformers. It has an external antenna jack. The whole construction is not a stable one, but the radio plays well. It has no AGC and that is not very convenient in use, constant volume operation is necessary during the tuning operation.
