Transistor Amplifiers continued

Here a design from 1992 after Andre Schmeets published in Elektor employing modern plastic transistors. The schematics show a class A amplifier design incorporating most modern knowledge and techniques.  

The BF 469/470 can best be replaced by special Toshiba transistors. The amplifier can deliver 50 Watts clean output power. Many commercial class A amps are based on this schematic principle.
